Our Purpose
The site organizes links and plain-language explanations for the Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation, Montgomery County Police, the Sheriff’s Office, municipal police departments, Maryland courts, state corrections, and federal custody locators. It does not copy those agencies’ databases or host booking-photo galleries.
Readers can use these routes to distinguish a recent CPU booking from present county custody, a city police report from a county booking record, and an arrest allegation from the court’s later disposition.
Independent and Unofficial
This website is privately owned. It is not part of Montgomery County, the State of Maryland, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, MCDC, MCCF, DOCR, MCPD, DPSCS, or any other government body. We cannot release a person, confirm live custody, retrieve an official file, change an agency record, or give legal advice.
How Sources Are Chosen
Official custodians come first. County correction pages, DataMontgomery, police records offices, Maryland Judiciary Case Search, and the DPSCS locator are identified by the question each can answer. News and other outside sources are secondary and may be selective, delayed, or wrong.
An arrest is not a conviction. Charges can be reduced or dismissed, so the originating agency and court disposition should be checked before drawing a conclusion.
Search Partner Disclosure
Some search boxes connect visitors with independent research providers. If a visitor follows or uses a partner tool, this site may receive a referral fee. That relationship does not make the partner an official Montgomery County source, and it does not change the need to verify information with the office that created the record.
